I’ve been waiting a long time for the sequel to Starcraft. I wasn’t exactly sure if Blizzard could update the game and still keep the same feel. I am happy to say that they have! The game play you know and love from the original is all there but the graphics have been brought into the 21rst century. Here is a quick run down of my experience so far:

Graphics: I’m not running the most state-of-the-art computer, but the game runs great on the “High” settings. I’m running an Intel E7400 with 4 GB of RAM and Dual NVidia 9600 GT OC’s in SLI. I had just a bit of stutter on “Ultra” settings, so I turned it down a bit.

Sound: The audio is a mix of “blast from the past” and “Wow! That is cool they added that!”

An avid gamers of Starcraft  will noticed right away with regards to menu , You can even select the music you want to play as the background  and lastly an allies that wil response.

Control: I hope you remember your hotkeys from SC1 because you’ll be needing them. The interface is pretty much cut and paste from SC1 but it has been updated for today’s graphics. Camera control is very nice, but I haven’t yet found a way to rotate the view and you are pretty limited to how far you can zoom out.

Single-player  play games : There are some interesting new aspects to the single-player game. You get to research upgrades and purchase new types of units (warning: some of these units are NOT available in multi-player). You also get delivered the storyline in face-to-face chats with other characters as well as through the standard cut scenes.  As for during mission game play, Blizzard has stayed true to form. Basically if you likes SC1 in single-player, you should love SC2′s single-player mode.

Multi-player Game play: Pure “vanilla” SC2 is very similar to online play with SC1. But you have the option to install custom game types as well. Think tower defense and DotA in Warcraft 3. I’m really looking forward to seeing what people come up with. While I love standard RTS action (which SC2 offers plenty of) a little change never hurts and promises to give the game a lot of longevity.

Ok, now for the bad part. You knew there had to be a reason for 4 stars, right?

1.) You have to log in to play, even in single-player. This really doesn’t matter to me, but I know some people call it a “deal breaker”.
2.) No LAN play at all.

But LAN play isn’t dead, Blizzard. Some of us like having the ultra-low latency of getting together face-to-face with our friends.

All that said, I’m looking forward to a long, healthy relationship with StarCraft 2 fighting games. So far, the wait has been worth it. I can’t wait to see how the community evolves and what new mods are made available over the next few months.

Here you will find information about Starcraft 2, a number of websites. The information on this game is very extensive. Many pages are information on how to play the game and what the story behind the game to offer. It has an official website, set up about the game Starcraft second

Starcraft has not yet been released to the public, but the creation of the game was first announced in Korea in 2007. This game is a lot of the original features from the first Starcraft game, but players will be happy to know, keep in mind that there are many supplements, and that playing the game have been improved. For example, players can play against each other, rather than as was the case in the original Starcraft game. This feature is designed in such a way so that players of equal ability play each other and find.

Starcraft 2 has kept many of the same races and games as well. In the second game, we see the continuation of the many groups, including the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. Starcraft 2 will be scenes, the pre-rendered, high-quality films to be seen between the levels to advance the plot may have to be cut. This was a feature, the first in the StarCraft game was introduced. In the new game, the graphics in such a way so that players can create their own cut-scenes are rendered from the game to create improved. This means that stopping the players and their game can rewind and watch scenes at different times.

Starcraft 2 will feature many of the same units that were in the first version of the game found. However, there were updates’ and improvements of these units. For example, the Protoss units now has the ability, with great power and speed to calculate what they could not do in the first game. Some units have to be improved in a similar way, others were completely replaced.

There was a video release of the game that future players, many of the new upgrades to the game were allowed to see made. Many upgrades have more interaction between the units. For example, in the new version of the game, units can now be teleported to different levels of the game or have the ability to traverse varying terrain, something that could not be done in the previous version.

Starcraft 2 is called a benchmark in real-time strategy games. It has attracted gamers around the world, but most followers of the game can be found in South Korea. In this part of the world, many players compete in matches and can actually be called a professional Starcraft player. The original version of the game has sold over ten million copies and it is expected that the sequel will surpass that number easily because of the improvements and upgrades that were made. The creator of the Starcraft games have no current plans to change the computer format of the game in a gaming system version. They create his game exclusively for use with a PC.

Well, I would like to sit still and I will listen very carefully. Here, the big news: The universe will be back in a big mess! Well guys … there is no reason to panic. Alright? Let me repeat very slowly … Yes! You heard it right. The StarCraft universe will be back again in the chaos as three races fight for their survival and victory. Blizzard Entertainment’s Starcraft hit real-time strategy game is now its sequel – the much awaited Starcraft II, the three mighty races – the rebel human Terrans, the Protoss and Zerg noble the gruesome will again fight for supremacy. Blizzard’s website has been inundated with questions from fans was. However, Blizzard is very careful in releasing information on Starcraft II, because the game still on the completion of the stage. Introducing: Starcraft II: One of the most surprising news that shakes the Starcraft universe is the fact that the new Starcraft a trilogy, because the game was expected that a single game, the legacy of being an epic game to be continued . This was announced by Blizzard BlizCon last year. It’s been a hard decision for them because it was a continuation between the epic and something spectacular choice. They feel that they chose the latter. In Starcraft II, there will be three games. That means it is a separate game for each of the three races, namely: 1) Terran: Wings of Liberty, 2) Zerg: Heart of the Swarm and 3) Protoss: Legacy of the Void. Each game will be 26-30 missions and give an epic in itself. Each game will be a complete product with a closure. It was promised that in the sequel it will not be cliffhangers where some of the players of the prequel had created, to be disappointed. Where’s the connection: Starcraft I and II: The sequel brings out the story where its predecessor left off – the Brood War. If you can not expect to finish the prequel Starcraft with a cliffhanger – the Zerg Queen Kerrigan. Storyline of StarCraft II is four years after the start. It turned out that the Cliff Hanger able to gather himself togther and form a mighty army, which later was proved to the dominant force in the industry Koprulu. Kerrigan and her horde crushed the United Earth Directorate’s Epeditionary Force, conquered the Terran Dominion and even Aiur (Protoss home world). It is ironic that Kerrigan has decided to retreat in Char. This creates a fear of the race because they are now not sure Kerrigan’s plans are. This is where storyline of StarCraft II will unfold …
